When it comes to popular luxury car brands in Mansfield, OH, it's not only good to be in the know about the future but also straight-up fun. It's exciting to hear about new Cadillac vehicles and plans. Here is some Cadillac news from 2021 and beyond.

The V-Series Blackwing Models

First up on our list is the announcement of the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing trims near Wooster and Medina, OH. While these new models are all-new for 2022 and available sometime in late 2021, the name Blackwing might be familiar to Cadillac fans. Originally, the name Blackwing represented the 4.2-liter V8 engine that was briefly in the CT6. These new Blackwing models, alas, do not come with this original engine. Instead, they come with an insanely powerful engine that produces 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque, at least on the CT5-V Blackwing. Either way, these two new high-performance sedans should be on your radar near the end of 2021.

The 2022 Cadillac Lyriq

Another 2022 model, the Cadillac Lyriq, should also be on your radar come early 2022 around Ashland, OH. Originally slated for a late 2022 launch, this new EV was announced to be pushed up a full nine months earlier than expected, which is fantastic. For those that haven't heard of the Lyriq yet, it's about time to research it. As an all-new EV, this SUV has already impressed both fans and critiques alike.

Plans for 2023

And for those looking more than a year into the future, it should be good to know what Cadillac plans on doing with their current line of vehicles. The XT4, XT6, CT4, and CT5, for instance, are all getting a refresh for 2023. The XT5 is similarly getting an entire overhaul that same year. And there are plans to add Blackwing trims to the Escalade and Escalade ESV models. There's a lot to look forward to in Cadillac's immediate future.
