Performance
Under the hood of this vehicle, you'll get a turbo-four engine with 237 horsepower. Although it produces less horsepower than the available engines, the base engine still delivers excellent performance. The available powertrains include two twin-turbocharged V-6 engines, with each producing different horsepower. One produces 335 horsepower, while the other has 360 horsepower. All-wheel-drive is optional in the segment, and the engines feature a 10-speed automatic transmission.
At any given place, the Cadillac CT5 does a good job, even in rocky places. Why? It boasts a fairly poised handling and several off-road features, such as an electronic limited-slip differential and adaptive dampers. Thanks to its adequate stopping power, you'll surely have a confident ride, especially in sloppy areas.
The gas mileage ratings differ depending on the type of powertrain you opt to choose. The standard powertrain registers 32 mpg-highway and 23 mpg-city. The other engine gets 28 mpg on the highway and 19 mpg in the city.
